This rebuilding of the baseball fields project is taking place in the small town of Kuna Idaho.
Our goal is to make these fields safe for the kids to play on and at the same time safe for the audience while watching the games.
Improving the safety would mean moving the two fields apart 25’. This would create an “Avenue” between the two fields and move the backstops an additional 25' from the street.
Hopefully, no more kids running into traffic after foul balls. Passers by will also appreciate the fact that their windshields will no longer be threatened by these errant balls.
There will be bleachers, 36' backstops, a permanent concession building, plus restrooms. No more running across the street in front of cars on the way to the bathroom across the park!
This renovation is all about safety. Not just safety for the kids and the parents that use the facility, but safety for the other people in the park.
Improving safety is one aspect, but another is access. When complete, the avenue will offer access to the entire park for all visitors, old and young.
